Shane Nizinkevich - WOODWINDS, BRASS & BAND

Shane Nizinkevich is a seasoned music educator, clinician, and adjudicator with over 20 years of professional experience in music and education. Born and raised on the Saskatchewan Prairies, he moved to Banff, Alberta, in 2008 and has made a significant impact as an educator within the Banff Community and the Bow Valley.

Shane holds bachelor’s degrees in both Music and Education from the University of Saskatchewan and advanced his studies at Acadia University, where he completed a Master’s in Curriculum in Music Education. Shane and his husband take joy in watching their children learn and grow. Shane delights in playing trumpet with his 4-year-old son, Theodore, and sharing his love for music with their 10-month-old daughter, Meredith.
